Germany’s first satellite-based reconnaissance system SAR-Lupe celebrates its tenth anniversary.
The five SAR-Lupe satellites work smoothly and provide weather-independent high-resolution radar images for the armed forces.
The STT-SystemTechnik GmbH has equipped all five SAR-Lupe satellites with its S-Band TMTC system and the respective S-Band antennas. For 10 years the reliably communication (control and telemetry data) takes directly place with the ground station or also via integrated inter-satellite link.
